It is a privilege to be associated with SIV-G. The mere participation in the essay competitionn has itself sparked a nationalistic character within myself. I was so happy to see my essay being posted in your site. Thanks a lot again for providing me this wonderful opportunity Sir!

The essay competition was definetely a motivation for the students to reflect upon the values and morals that a person ought to have and how it should not be sacrificed for personal greed. It helped me to identify the values that need to be practiced, come what may. It also made me introspect and see whether I'm following whatever Iam writing. And while talking about the relevance of integrity in public life, it created in me an urge to help change the system for the better. The want to be an honest and sincere citizen of the country and a humble servant of it's citizens was once again reinforced in me.
The youth are the future of a nation and their personality and intergrity shall determine the future of the nation.

About the influence of the competition on me I would not exaggerate to say that it has changed my entire outlook and the like but I must at this juncture express how obliged I feel for having been a part of it. "Integrity" and the influence of its depletion in Indian culture and society is a topic very close to my heart and through this essay which I had written on a sunday afternoon was not with a purpose of winning or being applauded but was a piece of my thought which I had always wanted to share with the world especially the youth of this country so that we could bring about a change, for a better India. All of us today realize that the system is not functioning effectively and we can speak at length about it blaming everyone remotely connected with it but forgetting the role of the civil society which today remains the only hope due to the degrading values and principles of our very own leaders.
