NGC Launched

National Governance Corps (NGC) has been Launched today (9th December 2008).  The Launch was commorated by the Members and Well Wishers of SIV-G hitting the site at 10.00 a.m.  A small group of students gathered informally and became part of this historically significant event. 

 

There are responses coming from different corners supporting this initiative.  Here is the Message from Mr. N. Vittal, IAS(Retd), Former CVC of India, who has been the inspiration behind this initiative.

The Pledge was administered to the First NGC the NGC Handbook was relesed on 10th December 2008.  Ms Kruthika Prakash, a student of XI Standard from DAV Girls Senior Secondary School become the First NGC.
